I know this is old news by now, but I finally looked up some of her videos, such as No Cum Dodging Allowed 7 (a completely average porno by my notes). Sucks that her career is probably ruined, especially since she wasn’t a teacher during her brief stint in the industry back in 2005 & 2006. It probably won’t help that the types of videos she did were not exactly couples vanilla—the anal cocktail is pretty gross.

I try not to be judgmental, but regarding viewing porn in public, I’m trying to think of any fucking reason why that would be acceptable. You can be a deviant fuck all you want in private, but to subject unwilling people to that is uncalled for. They are either are so addicted or (more likely) are doing it with intent. By doing so, they brand the rest of us who enjoy adult entertainment as perverts and lead to more zealous laws and policies.
And that’s without thinking about the children.

Although I’m pretty sure that a lot of porn is shot outside of Los Angeles and within without a film permit, my guess is that there’s not going to be a lot of flight even if this ordinance is enacted. Porn has been under a lot of pressure from a variety of sources for years (2257, piracy, web sites, Cal OSHA, obscenity prosecutions, low barrier to entry these days to produce professional quality video). The strong are going to survive and adapt in the Valley, not pack up and move to Toronto or Miami.
That’s not to say that I agree with the government agencies…mandatory condoms give the illusion of safety while creating a greater demand (and therefore financial incentive) for people to engage in more risky behavior with little or no controls.

While I think it’s admirable that she volunteered her time, I’m not sure that any other outcome could be expected when porn (even former porn) and children are even remotely associated. At least the school district officials claim they didn’t know who she was ;)
